EAGLE (EGE) · DENVER (DEN) · DOOR TO DOOR
Two airports serve Vail and Beaver Creek, and they make for very different arrivals. Eagle County Regional (EGE) is 30 to 45 minutes from your door along the valley floor. Denver International (DEN) is about two and a half hours away, over Vail Pass and through the Eisenhower Tunnel. We drive from both, in private cars.

Eagle or Denver: which airport?
If there's a flight that suits you, Eagle is the easy answer for a ski trip: no pass, no tunnel, and you can be on the mountain the next morning without a long travel day behind you. This winter Eagle has 19 nonstop routes to 15 cities; see our Eagle airport flights guide. Denver wins on choice and fares, and in summer, when most Eagle nonstops stop flying. On a Denver arrival, the drive is the part to plan carefully, especially on a Friday or in a storm; our Vail Pass winter driving guide explains why.

What every ride includes
- Flight tracking, so a delayed flight doesn't cost you your ride
- Meet and greet on arrival
- Door-to-door service to your hotel, condo or home
- Help with luggage and skis
- Stops on request, from a grocery run to a pharmacy
- Child seats on request
- Mountain-experienced chauffeurs and a luxury full-size SUV (Expedition MAX, Yukon XL, Suburban or similar) or an 11-passenger Ford Transit
Every ride is private: just your group, no shared stops. Book your ride to see vehicles for your date.
Other ways to get to Vail
A fair picture of the alternatives: Epic Mountain Express, Vail Resorts' own shuttle company (formerly Colorado Mountain Express), runs shared and private rides from both airports. Core Transit buses serve the Eagle airport for a $3 fare. Bustang runs from Denver Union Station to Vail and Avon, but not from the airport. And a rental car gives you freedom, with the Traction Law, Vail Pass and village parking to manage. Each route page compares these honestly for that trip.
